At the Centre for Women in Business (CWB), we believe every woman entrepreneur in Canada should have the tools, resources, and support she needs to build her dream business. We are a welcoming community of women in business who seek new ways to create, grow and adapt. We are committed to business and economic success. With over 30 years of experience in the entrepreneurship world, we’re here for entrepreneurs at every stage—whether you’re just starting out or planning your next big move.

The creation of an Advisory Board presents an exciting opportunity for individuals to shape the future of the CWB and empower women to capitalize on the significant economic growth opportunities in the Atlantic region and beyond.

Right now, we’re on the lookout for enthusiastic, skilled professionals to join our Advisory Board. This is your chance to make a real impact by helping shape our strategic plan, influencing our program planning and delivery, and driving our organization forward.

As a volunteer Advisory Board member, you’ll be a crucial part of our journey, helping us map out the future of CWB. We’re seeking diverse individuals who are committed to advancing women in business and who bring a range of professional backgrounds, experiences, ages, genders, and cultural perspectives to the table. Your commitment to the Advisory Board will include a minimum of two virtual meetings annually plus involvement in the development of our new strategic plan before March 31, 2025.
